For 131 years, Woods of Harrogate has had one aim: to offer the very best. We spent a year developing this duvet, and we believe it is among the finest in the world.

1000 fill power, a category of its own
Most luxury duvets are filled with down between 600 and 900 fill power. The Woods 1000 is filled with 1000 fill power goose down, among the rarest and loftiest down there is, and we know of no other 1000 fill power duvet made in the UK. In the Scandinavian tradition, it is measured by fill power, not just tog, and its quality rivals Siberian goose down and even eiderdown at a far more reasonable price.

Like sleeping under a cloud
The clusters are so large and resilient that the duvet rises into deep, billowing loft. It is generous and enveloping, yet almost weightless. Each deep baffle box keeps the down evenly spread, so the warmth reaches every part of the bed.

An exceptionally soft cotton batiste cover
The down sits inside a fine cotton cambric batiste. This is a closely woven, breathable fabric that feels as soft as the fill itself.
