Finally, I've found retailers of 100% Irish linen. All natural fibre, thus sustainable as is their brown paper & string packaging. No hint of sythetics/plastics anywhere.

Royal Mail alas misplaced my initial parcel but Woods Fine Linens got onto to it poste haste and immediately resent another shipment via a next day courier delivery. How about that for commitment to good customer service?

My new Woods Fine Linens tea towels are likely to last for the decades my old ones served me for and which are being replaced finally after over 35 years of brilliant service! They will thus be passed down as heirlooms as they will easily now outlive me!!!

The service from woods was brilliant.the phone was answered quickly and the people I spoke to were friendly and helpful. So far the tea towels seem very good. both the blue stripe kind and the black stripe ones do the job but I am still not totally clear as to the differences between them. I think this could be explained better on the website especially as they are the same price.
